In 2021, an estimated 258.2 million notebooks are forecast to be shipped globally, with 174.2 million tablet PCs to be shipped in the same year. Notebook shipments are set to grow further through to 2025, rising to 287.6 million units.
Global Information Technology (IT) spending including PCs accumulated to 4.24 trillion US dollars in 2021 and it is expected to increase by approximately 5.1% to 4.45 trillion US dollars in 2022
GPU
As of November 2021, 92.8 percent of respondents used a DirectX GPU’s graphics card compared to Direct 11 (2.2%), Direct 10 (1.3%) and Direct 8 GPUs or below (3.5%).
