The different 15 inch laptop dimensions are all listed below. Bear in mind though that these are screen sizes and not representative of the dimensions of the actual body of the laptop necessarily, as this can vary substantially depending on the specific model. Even the dimensions of 15-inch laptop display can still vary, depending on the aspect ratio certainly (we’ve listed the different results for each below), but also, different models and brands of laptop with the same aspect ratio can have slightly different width and height.
The other factor to consider is that 15 inch laptops are usually actually 15.6-inches, though you do get some that are just 15″ bang on the money. We’ll be listing the dimensions of both variants below.

How do you measure a 15 inch laptop screen’s dimensions?
The convention for measuring screen size is to do so diagonally and to quote it in inches. You can either measure from the top-left corner to bottom right or the other way round. When doing so, ignore the surrounding bezels and only measure the part of the screen which actually shows an image when switched on. The same applies when measuring the height or width.
Note that two laptops can both measure the same diagonally but have different heights and widths – one could be wider but shorter, and another narrower but taller.
4:3 15 inch / 15.6-inch laptop screen dimensions (standard)
15-inch 4:3 laptops are a rare sight, you’re more likely to see a smaller laptop in this aspect ratio for office use or coding, and even these aren’t that common anymore.
Nevertheless, we’ve listed the standard 4:3 15-inch and 15.6-inch laptop dimensions below. Do note though that actual measurements can vary somewhat from model to model – this is just the typical standard.

16:9 aspect ratio laptop screens used to be the gaming laptop standard are still the most common by far.
The standard 16:9 13.3-inch laptop dimensions are as follows, though again, these can vary a bit in reality (the display could be a bit wider, but a bit shorter, and measure the same diagonally):
