We got hands-on with the CyberPowerPC UK Infinity X135 D5 gaming PC
The Infinity X135 D5 sits towards the higher end of the mid-range bracket, featuring strong components that will deliver excellent results in 1440p. Inside we have the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics card, a strong GPU by anyone’s standard, with the ability to deliver high FPS in high resolutions and refresh rates. The card is paired with Intel’s Core i5-13400F processor, which is a highly capable multithreaded processor that will aid your overall experience.
Additionally, the system comes with 32GB of DDR5, 5200MHz RAM, and a rapid 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD. Everything comes wrapped in the impressive Lian Li Lancool 216, a highly regarded airflow PC case that will ensure temperatures remain optimal inside.
The system arrived boxed up and all the gaps inside the chassis were packed with high-density foam. As expected, it arrived completely undamaged, with all the additional bits and bobs inside, such as the motherboard manual, the extra screws, cables, and drive trays. We had to have a little peek at the back panel as we are cable management fiends here at WePC and everything was very neat and tidy, with logical routes making it easy for any future upgrades or swapouts. The system posted straight away, with no loose components or cables in sight.
We quickly jumped into a couple of our favourite games to see how this rig handles games when at the highest graphical settings in 1440p resolution. The PC performed as expected and made light work of both Days Gone and Cyberpunk 2077.
While playing Cyberpunk 2077 (ray tracing off) we saw an average of 125 FPS. The GPU never went over 70 degrees and the CPU remained at a steady around 50 degrees. In Days Gone we hit similar numbers averaging around 120 FPS with the settings maxed out. Again, the thermals remained steady, with the GPU staying under 70 degrees and the CPU below 50.
